Recovering from a mistake! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

It was one of those nights! I woke up for no reason and couldn't go back to sleep. As I lay there, I realized I had sent out one piece of information that wasn't correct, and that was it. I had to get up, and I worked for several hours! Then, when I finally woke up, I was exhausted! 

Even though I have some work to do today, I can have a nice long (well, not that long) nap, and all will be good!

Checking it Twice? from From the Strawberry Patch...

It all started here, with the Great Granny Squared quilt pattern. Simple enough, right? Everything's cut out at one time and after this one is pieced together (72" X 85") there are enough left over pre-cut squares to piece another, bonus, quilt. Who doesn't love a bonus? And here it is! Help! My fabric is shrinking from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

 I've been sewing for many years. You would think by now that I've learned everything there is to learn. And you would think that I don't make mistakes. Hardly! I've barely scratched the surface of what's out there, and I make mistakes EVERY DAY. 

Here's a couple of observations that drive me crazy!! 

1. "Wow! Your stuff is perfect!"  I get this a lot from people. My stuff is FAR FROM PERFECT. Points get chopped off, seams sometimes don't match, and colors - well, sometimes they don't work as they should. And I ...
